Flying UC rocks, not done so much of it this year but have enough trips coming up to maintain my flying club gold, means I can generally collect enough miles per trip to upgrade my company paid for Premium Econ ticket to the joy that is UC….
and yes the Virgin lounge at LHR is amazing…
Dubai on the other hand I’m not so convinced about although going back there next month.
Yeah, I don’t think I’d go out of my way to visit Dubai in a hurry but UC is definitely the way to travel! I guess the upgrades make all that flying you do a bit more tolerable - I’m just glad I only ever have to do it on holidays else the novelty would soon wear off.
The novelty of the Virgin lounge will never wear off, my brother and I spent a happy 4 hours in it before falling on to a plane to HKG earlier this year (and I’d managed to get both of us into UC as well!)
